Wirutex will be present at the upcoming international trade fairs FIMMA in Valencia and IWF2024 in Atlanta, with an extensive selection of tools for wood machining.

Wirutex is getting ready to meet customers and partners, through its participation in a number of international events. The company has a targeted, carefully-planned schedule, designed to increasingly strengthen its presence beyond the Italian border.

Below are the dates and locations of the upcoming international trade fairs where Wirutex will be in attendance:

  • FIMMA+MADERALIA in Spain, from 14 to 17 May 2024

The Feria Valencia will play host to the fair dedicated to the latest developments in the wood, woodworking and furniture sector: a major international event for the Spanish market. Wirutex tools will be on display on the stand of Spain Tools, a Wirutex partner in the Spanish territory, in Hall 2, Nivel 2,  Stand A47.

  • IWF 2024 U.S.A., 6-9 August 2024

IWF | The International Woodworking Fair is the leading industry trade fair for the North American market; it is a biennial event held in Georgia, at the Atlanta World Congress Center. Wirutex will be among the big names from the sector in attendance (Stand B5443, Hall B), with a wide selection of polycrystalline diamond and tungsten carbide tools for machining wood and advanced materials.

Wirutex's goal in attending the IWF for the second time in a row is to consolidate its presence in the American market, where the WIRUTEX USA sales branch has been open for more than a year.

This targeted participation in international trade fairs is part of a strategic plan by Wirutex to strengthen the company's positioning in the global market. But that’s not all: trade fairs are also an opportunity for contact and conversations, in order to gain a better understanding of the latest trends in the sector and establish partnerships.

Exhibiting at woodworking trade fairs: Wirutex's perspective

In an age dominated by technology, with the ability to follow live-streamed events and stay up to date with a simple click, you might wonder if it is still worth attending physical trade shows. However, there are at least five good reasons why it is worth seriously considering attending the major wood industry events. Not convinced? Keep reading!

1. Networking

Attending a trade fair provides the opportunity to forge new partnerships and agreements, expanding your network of contacts in the industry. In an ever-expanding market like wood processing, meeting other professionals in person can lead to new business opportunities. Direct contact enables a better understanding of the intentions and needs of other players in the sector.

2. See the products in person

Nothing can replace the experience of being able to see and touch the products on display at a trade fair. This enables you to assess the quality and functionality of wood processing tools directly, helping you to make more informed choices for your business. It is essential to test products, ask questions and make sure they are suitable before making important decisions: at a trade fair, you will have the opportunity to do so with a wide range of items.

3. Learn about the latest trends

Trade fairs are packed with events, conferences and workshops that offer the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry. Only by physically attending can you learn about the new trends in wood processing, follow the moves of the industry leaders and discover the latest innovations in terms of tools and finished products. Understanding customer expectations and improving your product is easier when you take part in these events.

4. Find prospective customers

Trade fairs offer an opportunity to meet potential customers, exchange views and build professional relationships. They represent an opportunity to consolidate the contacts acquired online and show that your company is interested in building strong relationships. Demonstrating an interest not only in profit, but also in building lasting human relations, is an important step for business growth.

5. Enhance your brand identity

Participating in a trade fair is a great way to convey a positive image of your company. Present your products, interact with people, be friendly: all this helps to strengthen your brand identity in the eyes of existing and potential customers. The aim is to foster a positive reputation, generate word-of-mouth recommendations and retain existing customers.
